This year, JG Color Studios turns 20 years old. Two decades of designing spaces filled with color, beauty, and heart. As I reflect on this milestone, I feel grateful for the clients who have trusted us, the friends who have supported us, and the team who has poured passion into every project.
But this anniversary is about more than looking back. It is about using what we’ve built together to create something lasting for someone who needs it most.
That is why I’ve partnered with Humble Design, a nonprofit that transforms empty houses into fully furnished, welcoming homes for individuals and families emerging from homelessness. Their mission speaks directly to the heart of what we do: home is more than shelter—it is dignity, safety, and hope.
Why This Matters
The statistics are clear and compelling. Nationwide, nearly 50% of people who leave homelessness return within a year. But 97% of Humble Design San Diego clients remain in their homes.
That difference is life-changing. It proves that the simple act of creating a warm, stable home can be the turning point that helps someone build a new future.
When a space feels like home, it provides stability. It inspires possibility. It restores hope.
This isn’t just moving furniture. It’s giving hope.

To mark this milestone, our goal is to raise enough funds to support Humble Design’s growing operations. While the **furniture and décor are generously donated by the community—making Humble Design one of the most sustainable organizations around—**your contributions cover the costs of what makes these transformations possible: the dedicated team of movers, drivers, and designers who now furnish homes four days a week, up from three.
That increase in frequency means Humble Design is serving more families than ever—and it also means they are in greater need of financial support to sustain their mission.
